A weekend of Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation with Melissa Borich and Liz Newman at Chenrezig Institute.
Accommodation is single, twin share or dormitory style, (please let us know which you would prefer on booking and we shall do our best to meet your request) Chai and cakes are available also at the “Big Love Cafe”.
This weekend retreat begins with a 4.00pm yoga class on Friday to settle and replenish.
These practices below are all guided; hence all levels are catered for, suitable for the very beginner to a more experienced practitioner.
• Progressive Muscle Relaxation sequences – the how to “Relax the body and the mind”
• Guided Mindfulness meditation practices, morning and evening
• A flowing morning practice of yoga postures
• Breathing practices to sooth and deeply replenish
• Restorative yoga, less is more,very healing
• Partner yoga
• Time for reading/reflecting/ exploring Chenrezig
Melissa Borich and Liz Newman have taught yoga and meditation for many years in the form of classes, workshops, courses and retreats.
Liz is a qualified yoga therapist, and Melissa has trained at the Gawler Foundation in Mindfulness-based Stillness Meditation.

$50 deposit, then the remainder of retreat to be paid in full one month prior to retreat starting.

Your deposit is refundable if you cancel with 4 weeks notice before an event starts. You can transfer your deposit to another event, If you give Melissa’s Healing Space at least 2 weeks notice.
No transfer or refund possible with less than 7 days notice.

Chenrezig Institute is a Buddhist retreat and study centre nestled in the hills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia. Established in 1974, the Institute was among the first Tibetan Buddhist centres in the Western World and remains one of the largest. It is a registered charitable organisation affiliated with the FPMT.
Melissa has been teaching yoga and meditation for over ten years,
in the form of classes, retreats and workshops in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Maleny. Melissa’s studies to become a yoga teacher began with Adam and Akash Bornstein of Radiant Light Yoga. It ignited a passion for yoga and all that it entails.
Created with the intention to begin and complete the flow in one session.
Giving an intimate class/studio feel, just like you are participating in a class @ Melissa’s Healing Space.
