Nurturing Women's Retreat – September 25th-27th 2026 

Claim this week-end to replenish, rejuvenate and restore balance as you relax into the peaceful bush setting of Melissa's Healing Space. As you settle into your first afternoon yoga class surounded by the soothing and healing sounds of nature, tension  begins to  slip away, and ease is felt in body and mind.

Nourishment on every level – Daily morning and afternoon  guided Yoga Classes,  Mindfulness Meditation practices, coupled with Progressive Muscle Relaxation are a wonderful way to press the pause button and re set.

 This retreat includes –

  • 2 nights accomodation in a tranquil setting — single and twin share options available.
  • 6 delicious organic vegetarian meals — individual dietary requirements catered for.
  • Insight into balancing hormones for women, Saturday evening presentation with guest presenter Naturopath Holly Borich
  • Morning  and afternoon yoga classes, therapeutic  flowing practice and Restorative Yoga

Melissa creates a safe, nurturing environment for women to  replenish and  feel nourished  on every level. The retreat content has been lovingly thought out, created and  planned for women of any age or stage of life.

Please note due to the smaller size of this retreat there shall be  time for individual needs to be addressed throughout your week-end experience, e.g. personalising your yoga/meditation practice to meet you where you are at.

I first attended a Nurturing Women's Retreat at Melissa's Space in 2017.

Over the past nine years I have attended a weekend retreat once or twice a year, as well as the occasional yoga session. If I lived closer I would be attending her weekly classes also!

I thoroughly enjoy attending her retreats and reap the benefits of calm, peace and mindfulness for months afterwards. Melissa's tranquil accommodation, food, meditation sessions, gentle yoga, information and guidance throughout the weekend is always outstanding. She is an experienced, inclusive, caring teacher.

Her retreats are structured to be fully beneficial to mind and body and I have seen many stressed and unwell women who have found a space to be calm, reflective, peaceful and supported.

I can feel my body relaxing after the first gentle yoga session and by the end of the weekend, my mind is lighter, clearer and calmer, and my body feels relaxed. It is like a reset button for my busy life. I love the restorative yoga sessions and will continue to attend Melissa's Healing Space for as long as I am able!

Accommodation:

The accommodation is twin share, unless a single room is requested.

Single rooms are available at an extra cost, please contact Melissa if this is required as single rooms are limited. Four single rooms, two with share bathroom and two with en suite are available at an extra fee. 

This is an intimate retreat, with Melissa's Healing Space accommodating up to  12  participants at a time.  

You are welcome to  arrive from 2.30pm onwards, this gives you time to settle in before the first class begins at 4.30pm.

Please allow yourself time to complete the week-end with a share circle, retreat completes 1.00pm Sunday.

 

Cost: $850 (twin share), $950 (single with share bathroom), $1150  (single with own bathroom)

Massage available on request at an extra cost.

Cancellations that occur between one and two months prior to the retreat start date will be refunded minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations that occur at or after this time cannot be refunded unless a student can be found to take your place.

Melissa's Healing Space reserves the right to cancel events with two weeks notice due to illness or unforseen circumstances and will not be liable for costs incurred.
