In Melissa’s classes you are encouraged to explore fluidity of movement, with awareness to breath, and where it is flowing. Challenging at times yet nurturing, building strength and flexibility, using the body  and breath to become present with what is needed for you in each moment. Props are always offered if needed.

The invitation is  given to explore where you are at in each  moment, making the practice a personal experience. Melissa is dedicated to creating an inclusive enviroment  for the beginner to the experienced, making her classes accessible to all level of student.

Meditation is guided  at the beginning and at the end of each class. Allowing one to glean a taste of the inner peace and stillness that resides in each of us. Encouraging the  practice to be taken with you as you leave class and into your daily life.

Melissa has deepened her studies and personal practice by training in   Mindfulness  based Stillness Meditation, Imagery and Contemplation  at the Gawler Foundation in Yarra Valley [Vic].  She has also co-facilitated alongside Drs Ruth and Ian Gawler in week long residential Mindfulness retreats. “Mindfulness an  engaging journey, which develops wisdom and compassion through awareness of body, emotion, mind and spirit as one integrated whole.” – Dr Ian Gawler
